ROCKPORT CITY PARK COMMUNITY BUILDING
We appreciate your use of the Rockport Community Building. We try to keep the rental price within everyone’s budget. One of the ways we accomplish that is to help us keep the building clean. It is your responsibility to pick up the key from City Hall on the last business day before you rent. The Parks Board sets all the rules & regulations which the caretaker & the renter, must adhere to. If you have a complaint about the building, or the service you received, you are invited to attend a Parks Board meeting. Please call City Hall for the date & time of their next meeting.
We ask you to fill this form out completely so we can meet your requirements.
RULES FOR THE USE OF THE COMMUNITY BUILDING
The building should be as clean as you found it. It must be cleaned & ready for use by midnight of your rental date. Trash should be taken to the bin on the hill next to the garage. The floors should be swept & mopped. All tables must be wiped off & the kitchen cleaned. There are cleaning supplies in the closet next to the entrance door. The rules for the use of the Community Building & Checklist of items to be completed will be posted on the bulletin board in the kitchen. Your deposit WILL NOT be refunded if you fail to complete all items on the checklist properly.
**There are 21 tables & 120 chairs available. If you require more than this, you will need to make other arrangements. NOTICE: NO TABLES OR CHAIRS ARE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING.
THE CITY OF ROCKPORT PROPERTY USE & RENTAL AGREEMENT
You hereby agree that you will indemnify & hold the City of Rcokport, Indiana harmless from all claims and/or liability arising out of or related to your use and/or rental of the Richard Hedrick Swimming Pool, the Community Building and/or the Primitive Shelter located in the Rockport City Park. Including reasonable attorney fees, expenses, and costs unless such claims and/or liability arise out of or relate to the fault of the City of Rockport, Indiana.
